Cal Poly Senior Aircraft Design

Led aerodynamics and performance for a senior aircraft design project, translating requirements into constraints, trade studies, CAD, and MATLAB sizing tools.

Designed from an RFP and researched FAA regulations to extract and meet relevant constraints.

Performed trade studies for risk analysis while designing the wing and fuselage.

Modeled aircraft exterior using VSP during iterative design and finalized work in SolidWorks and Rhino.

Created MATLAB tools for sizing, integrating the engine deck, and determining overall performance.
